Eye-Catching DIY Sequin Sunglasses Shirt

SONY DSC

Your old clothes can always be cuter and funnier if you add a couple of details, and today’s project contains a great idea. You’ll need a basic shirt, an image of your favorite sunglasses silhouette, 9″ x 6″ piece of sewing interfacing, sharpie, 9″ x 6″ piece of colored felt, 2 pair of scissors – one pair for cutting fabric and one pair for cutting paper, pins, 9″ x 6″ piece of black felt, 9″ x 6″ piece of sequin fabric, 2′ chain, needle, thread and sewing machine. First you need to find the sunglasses silhouette you like best. Make sure it’s sized appropriately for your shirt. Now print and cut it out. Trace your silhouette onto your interfacing, and cut out your pattern. The rest of the tutorial is here.
