In the fall and winter we all take sweaters out of our wardrobes and start wearing them every day with jeans. But wearing a sweater and jeans is a very cheesy thing: everyone wears them all the time! If sweater weather is already on, and you want to avoid boring looks and are looking for something fresher, I have some cool ideas that you may steal, take a look!
The first idea to avoid any boring looks is to wear a non-typical sweater, and right now it can be a knit waistcoat. Wear it over a shirtdress or a shirt, add jeans and trousers in the latter case or some tall boots if it’s a dress. Statement earrings or a chain necklace, and voila – a fresh look is ready! This look was edgy last year and it’s still totally on, and there are lots of vest in various colors and with different patterns to choose from. Another idea is choosing a sweater with color blocking or even embroidery, pair them with a plain slip skirt or simple jeans (not to overdo the outfit) and you are done.

The second idea is to rock a right sweater with something else besides jeans – a slip skirt, a slip dress, a denim mini, corduroy pants, flare trousers, leather shorts or pants, a denim overall, a pleated A-line mini. As for the sweater itself, choose an oversized chunky one in the color that is basic for your wardrobe (that will let you get more combos with it). You may also raise the level of your look with cool combat boots or lace up booties, with knee tall ones. Try a layered look if the weather allows: you may pair up your sweater with a shirt under it, layered looks always catch more eyes.
