Classy DIY Swim Bandeau

The summer is almost here! And for many of us summer is associated first of all with beach, travel and rest. So how about you? If you like lazy rest on the beach too, then our idea will be perfect for you. I think you will agree that beach clothes and accessories should be comfy, eye-catching and original at the same time. And of course you need to pick them up depending on these characteristics. If you wanna a new and cool swim top, you don’t need to buy it, just take your old bandeau swim top and add some new details and décor elements.

Just 30 minutes or hour, and you’ll get an awesome and stylish top, which you can mix with colorful bikini bottoms, beach shorts, airy skirts and wraps. If you wanna create a look with bikini bottoms, you can choose a different and contrasting bikini bottoms or any shape you want, for example, very trendy high-waisted ones! This project is easier than you think, so let’s make it! For creating it you’ll need bandeau swim top, scissors, extra swimsuit fabric, needle and thread, measuring tape and ribbon. First cut the extra swimsuit fabric into 1/4 inch-3/8 inch strips. Then hand sew the three strips at one end, and make the same for the three nine inch strips. Now braid the strips until they are 23 inches and eight inches in length. Hand sew ends and cut excess. The rest of the tutorial is here.
